RESERVATIONS

Q. I found your B&B in more than a booking portal or website....Which is the best way to place a reservation?
A. You can book your staying in many different way, either on our partners website such as booking.com,                  venere.com etc. or booking directly with us. This is probably the method we prefer as we like to establish a direct link with our guests. Plus if you book through our personal website you can take advantage of our offers and promotions, exclusive for direct bookings.

Q. Shall I book my staying with a large advance?
A. We strongly suggest to book your room with the right advance especially if you plan to visit Rome in crowded periods like Christmas, Eastern, Summer, etc. Don't forget there are 5 millions people living in Rome and 6,5 millions tourists every year.

Q. Can I cancel a reservation?
A.You can cancel your reservation free of charge until 2 days prior of your arrival, after this time limit we'll charge the cost of one night.

Q. Why do I need to provide a credit card to place a reservation?
A. Don't worry, nothing will be charged on your credit card, we will use it just to guarantee your reservation.

Q. Will you charge my staying on the credit card I provided while booking?
A. The payment will be made directly at the B&B on your arrival and you will be able to pay either by cash or credit card....or even another credit card, just up to  you.

Q. Which credit card do you accept?
A. We do accept VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards plus italian "Bancomat"


GETTING THERE

Q. I'm coming by airplane, can you suggest how to reach you from the airport please?
A. Depending on which airport you'll be landing at it could be better to reach us by train or by bus. Sometime at specific time of the day it would be even cheaper and better to get a taxi, especially for groups of more than 2 people. You can find detailed information on our LOCATION page.

Q. Do you provide airport transfer service?
A. Yes, we do provide transfer service from/to both the airports, the cost is 50 euro per ride up to 4 persons.

Q. Is a public taxi ride expensive?
A. Taxi fares from/to the airports are pre-defined from municipality as follow
Fiumicino-Rome and vice versa: 40euro
Ciampino-Rome and vice versa: 30euro

Q. At what time can I Check in?
A. Check in time is from 2.30pm to 9.30pm

Q. I'll be reaching Rome very early/late, how can I check in?
A. In case you'll be very early you could come to our B&B to leave the luggage but the room won't be ready until 2.30pm. In case you'll be arriving after 9.30pm we will charge you 15euro as "late-check in" option. We are sure you understand it's just the fee we'll have to pay ourselves  to somebody waiting for your arrival.

Q. At what time shall I leave the room?
Check out time is at 11.00am

Q. Can I just leave the luggage before check in time?
A. Yes, you can come earlier than 2.30pm to leave your luggage.

Q. Can I leave the luggage and come back to pick it up before departing?
A. Yes, the day of your departure you can leave the luggage and come back to pick it up before leaving.
Depending on which room you'll be staying you could be required to bring your luggage on a different area.

Q. How far is the nearest underground station
A. The nearest stop is "CIPRO" station, on LINE A, and it is VERY close to our B&B, something like 1 minute walking. You can also see it from some of our rooms window.

Q. What are the Underground working hours?
A. The underground is open from 5.30am to 11.30pm from Sunday to Thursday.
Friday and Saturday it close at 01.30am

Q. I'm coming by car, is it easy to find a parking slot in the area?
A. Like any other crowded city parking in Rome can be very difficult. However we stand in a residential area where public parking are highly available. The cost of the public parking (on the road) is 1euro /hour or 4euro the full day.

Q. Do you have any agreement with a private parking to leave the car locked at night?
A. The owner of the building can reserve a private parking spot in a locked area upon request. The price is 15euro per night.


WHILE STAYING

Q. Can I use the kitchen?
A. For the safety of our kind guests we do not allow the use of the Kitchen.

Q. Do you have any kind of "operational time" to get out and get in?
A. No, when you will check in we will give you your set of keys and you'll be able to get in and out at you convenience.

Q. Do you provide linens and towels?
A. Yes, linens and towels are included in the price.

Q. I'm travelling with my Dog, is he allowed in your B&B?
A. He's certainly allowed and more than welcome! Please just let us know with a bit of advance.

Q. I'm travelling with my computer, do you have an Internet Wireless?
A. Yes we have it and it's free of charge.


GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Are the Vatican Museum far away?
A. No, we are very close to the Vatican City and the museum is 10-15 minutes walking distance from us.

Q. Do you have any tourist guide contact?
A. Yes! And if you're thinking of hiring one is probably a good idea. Wouldn't be nice to walk around a beautiful city
with somebody able to explain what you're seeing? Ask us about it!

Q. Do you have any place to recommend to see/where to eat/drink?
A. Of course we do! We like to share our "native's hints" with our guest to help them surviving in the touristic jungle.

Q. I'm coming to try to see the Pope, can you recommend a way to achieve this?
A. There are 2 ways to assist to a Mass of the Holy Father.
One of this is to join the Sunday Angelus on Saint Peter square which is very close to our B&B. Admittance is free.
The other way is to join the Wednesday private Mass. Admittance is also free but reservation is required.
This events schedule can change without notification.

Q. Do you have any agreement with tourists attractions in order to pay less/not queuing?
A. Yes, we have some agreement with tour operators partners that will allow you to save some money on specific
attractions and also to avoid queuing for hours....just ask us!
